So sad to hear of Mrs. P passing. She was one of my most favorite teachers at Como School. I had her for Kindergarten and absolutely loved her. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Patti, Jamie and families, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and grandmother. We enjoyed having your mom as our neighbor in Camp Cleghorn. She was so warm-hearted and sweet. Though we haven't seen much of her in recent years, we remember her dearly and will miss her.

Mrs. Petranek was my kindergarten teacher at Traver, and her loving, caring ways led me to become a teacher. She has left a lasting impression on me, and I hope that I can continue to teach with love and instill an empathetic nature in my students, just as she has done. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all those that she has touched throughout her life.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mrs. Petranek. She was my very first teacher at Como School back in 1974. She laid the foundation for my educational path. I have so many fond memories. She was a phenomenal woman. She will be missed.

Mickey taught a lot of people about life. I am so grateful to have known her and cherished her as my neighbor. My prayers and thoughts are with your family. She told me that my father was going to wonder who the "crazy" lady was next to him.

Mickey was a beautiful woman...always thinking of others. She taught our 3 daughters at Traver and they loved every minute of Kindergarten. We have fond memories of Mickey and her car which was always filled with "stuff" just in case some child or some family needed something. An angel to everyone. Our prayers and deepest sympathy.

I want to express my very deepest symphony to the family. Mickey and I grew up together as 1st cousins, but more like brother and sister. She was all the family I have left and she will be sorely missed.
