Cindy "Tunes" Lininger-Kendall

Cindy “Tunes” Lininger-Kendall, 59, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Sunday October 9, 2016 in Lake Geneva.  The former Cindy Ann Lininger was born in Ladysmith, WI on June 26, 1957 the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Sass) Lininger.  She was a graduate of Badger High School graduating in 1975.  On March 1, 1992, in Las Vegas, NV, she was united in marriage to Lowell Kendall.  She worked as a waitress at Hogs and Kisses in Lake Geneva for 35 years.  Shortly after high school graduation she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Lakeland Nursing Home in Elkhorn, WI.  Tunes was an avid bowler and had bowled in several ladies leagues.  She loved spending time on her pontoon boat. Wednesdays were known as “Boat Day” and Tuesdays were known as “Tunes Day”.  She also deeply loved her husband, family, extended family, friends and of course her many pets. Tunes always made sure everyone was happy and having a great time.

Tunes is survived by: Lowell, her husband of 24 years, by 3 sisters; Diane Fraser and Debbie Lininger both of Lake Geneva and Laurie (Wayne) Linden of Clinton, WI and 2 brothers; Gene (Grace) Lininger of Lake Geneva and James (Mumbua) Lininger of Minneapolis, MN.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Stack, 2 nieces Michele Stack and Tracy Burgess and a nephew Damien Stack.

Services will be held Sunday October 16, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorials are requested in Tunes’ name to:  Love Inc., 480 S. Pine St., Burlington, WI 53105.
